Huntsville Speedway settles ADA Business Policy Violation

Posted by on Sep 25, 2012

The Huntsville Speedway entered into a settlement to resolve complaints that the track lacked accessible parking, toilets, and spectator seats.  Aside from paying $6,000, the Speedway will provide a waiter service for patrons in wheelchair accessible seating at events and make physical modifications to make parking, ticket counters, and routes to seating are all handicap accessible.  Businesses that want to avoid ADA litigation should make every effort to provide accessible parking and access to the business available.  These are the most common situations in which our past clients have found themselves involved in litigation. If you have questions about whether your business is ADA compliant, feel free to contact our office.
