Wal-Mart sued by disability rights advocates

Megastore conglomerate Wal-Mart has been sued by disability rights advocates for its refusal to make payment machines accessible to wheelchairs and scooters.  The advocates claim that many California Wal-Mart stores knowingly placed credit/debit card terminals beyond the reach of disabled customers, making it impossible for them to independently pay with a card. The complaint against Wal-Mart claims this placement in violation of California state law and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
